(19 September 2016) – The School for Resilience! project (SfR) organises in Cloughjordan Ecovillage, County Tipperary, Ireland, on 10th and 11th of October 2016, a European Training Seminar.
This seminar will introduce a new approach in environmental education for schools, development education and Education for Sustainable Development, using a Place Based Learning methodology in the context of climate adaptation and community sustainability and resilience based on the School for Resilience! project (SfR).
SfR is a European funded project developing a fresh approach in school environmental education.
The flexible SfR module is competency based and fosters initiative, co-operation, a sense of place, entrepreneurship and creativity around adaptation to challenges such as climate change.
