International transformative training of trainers course offered in Scotland

(1 June 2017)- Gaia Education, which specialises in strengthening the capacities of educators and multipliers to help transform communities, is offering its next Training of Trainers on the 17th June near Findhorn Ecovillage in Scotland.

This course aims to unleash participants’ abilities to facilitate transformative learning environments and host multi-stakeholder conversations towards creating local platforms for learning and collaborative action.

The programme is built upon three pillars:

  • Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals – One Community at a Time (Saturday and Sunday module can be taken separately)

  • Facilitating Participatory Learning Journeys

  • Deepening the Edge Work

This week-long, content-rich, action-based course will be lead by some of Gaia Education’s most experienced trainers

Participation in this course can help pave the way to becoming a Gaia Education certified trainer such as Jacqueline Fletcher. Since obtaining her certification in 2016 she has facilitated the development of a project in Australia, visited several projects in Auroville ecovillage, India, been involved with a co-housing project in Ireland and a new ecovillage in Scotland. At present she is facilitating the design process on a Dutch Ecovillage Design Education course and teaching urban permaculture in France.
