General Assembly 2019, 7th-11th April, Križevci, Croatia

ECOLISE’s annual general assembly  is the ideal gathering at which to meet ECOLISE members and those in the wider community. It’s a classic ECOLISE blended meeting so you can attend either in person or online. This year together we will be finalising ECOLISE’s strategy review, designing how we will progress it through key areas of our work and electing a new Council (which happens biannually).

Details about registration, the programme, travel and attending remotely are now available here. The deadline for registration is March 22nd.

Prior to the GA we are also hosting a Sustainable Community Programme workshop.

Solidarity Financing

The GA is co-funded by ECOLISE members and has an open budget. This year we are offering solidarity financing options to help support people with no or very limited budget. Both in-person and online participants can support others in two ways: when buying a ticket for the GA and when paying your organisation’s membership fee.
If you are attending in person you can offer to help somebody else by buying a GIVEHELP ticket which covers all your GA costs plus a donation. Those in need of financial help can buy a reduced cost GETHELP ticket at time of registration.
At the start of the GA there will be a report on the funds raised versus the actual budget situation, with an invitation for all member organisations to contribute beyond their membership fee towards the 2019 and 2020 GA budget. Delegates will be invited to make their pledges during the GA, and the outcome of this invitation will be shared before the assembly’s close.

We will be sharing updates regarding the GA on our Facebook event page so please follow by registering as ‘interested’ or ‘going’.

Also, the next session of our online meeting series feeds into preparation for the GA so please, even if you can’t attend the gathering, think about joining us online on 28th March.
