ECOLISE EGA approves 2021 workplan, budget, new members & Co-President

ECOLISE’s first electronic and extraordinary General Assembly concluded Monday 5th July with the announcement of the results of the voting. All the documents which were presented to ECOLISE members on Thursday 1st July were approved by electronic voting.

They included the 2021 Workplan and Budget, changes to the ECOLISE statutes and a Organisational Transformation Roadmap.

Of the 47 delegates who voted at the EGA, 3 voted against the workplan and 18 abstained. On the budget there were four votes against and 7 abstentions. And on the transformation roadmap two delegates voted against, and three abstained.

New members Ecodorp Boekel from the Netherlands, the Centre for Alternative Technology from Wales and PVN Albania were unanimously voted as new members with one abstention. They were welcomed to the organisation.

Alisa Sidorenko was chosen as Co-President to replace Nonty Sabic, who stepped down from the interim role and her Council position on 15th June 2021.

The documents presented at the EGA were made available to delegates before an online meeting on Wednesday, 30th June 2021. At this meeting a group of 38 ECOLISE contributors (out of which 28 were member organisations’ delegates) gathered and were invited to ask questions. Questions and comments were also invited in the various working documents. Final proposed documents were presented to members on the Thursday morning. Voting was open until Saturday, 3 July 2021 at 18h CEST.
