Sustainable Communities Programme workshop

This workshop preceding the ECOLISE 2019 General Assembly is an important opportunity for connecting and contributing to ECOLISE’s strategic Sustainable Communities Programme. In particular, it serves launching the transnational SCP Community of Practice.

Approach

Building on multiple previous conversations, we will touch on key challenges of catalysing regional transitions in a holistic, co-creative way. The specific topics will be deepened in online meetings in the coming months.

Emerging agenda

Vision, current state and history of the SCP
Pilot regions: reports from the field and opportunities for further developments and cross-fertilization
Community of Practice: what is it, why do we need it, and how can we make it work?
Specific topics:
– Mapping and attracting stakeholders
– Facilitating cross-sector meetings
– Developing a collective impact agenda
– Designing and implementing systemic interventions
– Governing multi-actor networks
– Documenting and sharing lessons learned
– Raising funds for the SCP

Expected participants

Facilitators, trainers, researchers, project coordinators, representatives of ECOLISE member and partner organisations.

Cost: This workshop as such is free of charge, gratefully supported by a FundAction Rethink Grant. One day extra board and lodging on site can be booked under REGISTER, on your own budget.
